From sample or idea
to precision-validated component

Utmost precision. Unmatched quality.

Scan. Engineer. Machine. Inspect.

Flight hardware asks for more than
a tight tolerance. It asks for a process
that is planned before the first cut,
verified on the first part, and recorded
for every part after it, under AS9100:D.

Built to the drawing. Proven on the CMM.

Basant's quality management system is certified to AS9100:D and ISO 9001:2015 by Intertek. The certified scope covers the manufacture of precision machined components and assemblies for aerospace, automotive and industrial applications.

Reverse engineering, programming, 5-axis machining and CMM inspection sit on one site, so development questions are answered by the people making the part. Part-specific tolerances, sizes and lead times are confirmed in the engineering review.

Engineering Beyond Manufacturing

At Basant, engineering
begins long before
production.

From interpreting drawings and developing manufacturing strategies to precision machining, inspection and
final validation, we work across the complete manufacturing journey.

01

Complex Parts. Controlled Processes.

Simultaneous 5-axis and horizontal machining, planned around the geometry, tolerances, material and inspection requirements of each component.

Multi-face components are machined in fewer setups, with the datum structure kept intact, so the parts that hold a structure together are located to one another the way the drawing intends.

02

Prove the Design Before the Batch.

Prototypes answer the questions a drawing cannot. What is learned from the first part (fixtures, programs, inspection plan) carries straight into production.

Prototype parts and fit-check models from 3D printing shorten the path from a design to a machined, inspected component.

Basant runs prototyping and production as one engineering workflow.

03

Measure. Verify. Document.

Manufacturing precision is only valuable when it can be verified. CMM inspection validates each component against its drawing and records the result, in a dedicated inspection room on the same site as the machines.

Basant: quality that travels with every component.
